Browning Model 1886 45/70

I'm looking at a model 1886 high grade But the serial #'s don't match up to my books as this was supposed to be made in 1986 and the one I'm looking at serial # is for a 1992 Was there a later model grade VI made????????? thanks Lee Tenold
