Stumped
My S$W 10 mp.
Ok. I got all the parts, put them back in the correct way, and it works, except for one thing. The little ratchet part (hand assem.) that turns the cylinder only works when I point the gun down. It will work for about three or so turns when level, then it stops, and wont work at all when pointed up. Obviously it is falling back, however I cant figure out why.[xx(]
I did this on my own without direction. I have done this several times with various revolvers without this problem. Please help.
Thanks[:D]

hand spring. 0 -
There is a formed wire spring inside the trigger that tensions the hand. Look at the rear of the trigger and you should see the spring. Using a small tool, push the spring end up and toward the front of the trigger, past the holes for the hand. Hold it there while you insert the hand into the trigger.
Should solve your problem.
