Dietz Rifle Barrel

Have found a gun advertized with a Dietz barrel. Does anyone have information with regard to this make or model of rifle barrel? Good, bad or indifferent?

  I'm not familiar with Dietz barrels, but there is a Lietz that has been barreling rifles since about 1950. He is a gunsmith and doesn't "make" the barrel, but gets a blank from one of several suppliers, then chambers, turns, fits it to an action. If that is what you have, it can be considered a quality rifle, however you'd have to check with him to know the supplier of the barrel. His number is in the book: Verne Lietz, Peshastin, WA
