Remington 742 stock

I was wondering if the stocks for the remingtoin 870 and the 742 are interchangeable? I was wondering where they got this pistol grip stock for a 742

scroll down a bit on the page. It looks like the 742 and the 870 have the same size reciever.

  I used a Speedfeed Remington 1100 on mine. I don't know if the 870 will fit also. Just order it from Cabela's and if she don't fit- send it back. I had to lengthen my bolt to work with the stock.
