  I have a number of Ruger handguns and I don't think I know what (SR) means nor did I know that Ruger ever made a 9-shot pistol.
  
  From the lack of responses to your query, I'd suggest that you try doing a search on the Auction pages...put the identifying facts (BRAND & MODEL NUMBER) about your gun in the search window and give'er a go. You'll probably turn up comparable items and get an idea from that. Otherwise, check your local pawn shops/gun stores and take the items in for an appraisal. Most will be free. If they want to charge you, walk out. [^]

  I believe hes talking about the Ruger Mark I which took a 9 round mag , but with out knowing the conditions of the firearms its very hard to answer his questions
