  The stevens savage 620 was a improved version of the earlier 520 engineered by John M Browning. Basically the 520 had the signature humpback browning feature that was eliminated in the 620. They were made from the 20's up through the mid 40's. They were also made for Montgomery Wards under the designation Model 60. They are a fine old gun. I have a 20 gauge that I inhertited and the thing is a very good field gun.
