S&W Mod. 41, Ruger 22/45 parts recommendations
Model 41: Are recoil Shock Buffs (or Shok Buffs) avaliable for this .22 Semi Auto? I'm a high volume practice shooter/trainer.
Ruger 22/45: I expect to buy a Ruger standard 22/45 (5 1/2" with adj. sights) as a back-up for my S&W Model 41. I once saw a plastic "bin" magazine-loader for the Ruger Mark II magazines. Is there such a quick loading bin or "hamper" style loading device for the different 22/45 magazines? Are there recoil Shock Buffs for the 22/45?

Shok-buff is not needed on the 41 (and I doubt one is made). Try using Standard Velosity .22. Most target shooters run thousands of rounds thru a 41 with no problem. Should change extractor and spring about every 5M rds.
22/45 mag: Standard .22 plastic fingers will fit most and I believe the Ruger Mark II will work for the 22/45. I own a 22/45 and find the fingers work quite well.
Both are excellent guns and should give great service.0 -
S&W 41/46 buffers are availble. don't have name available, but on E-Bay from time to time. Agree that they are not really needed. 0
