  I think that you can just follow your own link to a dealers ad; it appears to me that, for $5,000, you can order one from that dealer. Also, since they are made to order, the number manufactured will be directly proportional to the number of suc-, I mean customers, that they can find. While these are Colt "authorized", I don't think that they are made or decorated by Colt; at least, I couldn't find anything in the ad to make me think they were.
  
  I know that there are some folks out there who love guns that have been pimped-out & don't care that they can't even handle them, let alone shoot them, but I'm not one of them. But, I support the right of anyone who wants one to do so.
  
  However, since you used the words "valuable" & "sought after", I think that you should avoid all of these; they are for folks who have so much money that it doesn't mean anything to them.
