S&W model 1000 in 3" mag

Alright experts, these seem to be as rare as hen's teeth. Maybe not though, that's why I'm asking you. Where the heck can I find one? I have a 1000 in 2 3/4 that I love, but I want a little more power to make sure that pheasant stays put after I knock him down.

  keep your eyes open you usually see about 2 or 3 a month go through the auction sites. the 1000M and the 1000 super which will cycle both 2 3/4 and 3'' shells seems more plentiful on auction than the regular 2 3/4 1000, maybe thats because im looking for one[:D]? Anyway best of luck and when searching try s&w in shotguns or 1000 then just smith in shotguns. Some people have a way with listing things and you gotta search hard to find them sometimes. hope this helps

  Thanks a bunch m_c. That is the first one I have actually seen. It's a lot plainer than my regular 1000. Maybe the 1000M is what I'm looking for.

  Thanks again m_c. I'm considering selling mine....but, It was the first shotgun, well gun for that matter, that I ever bought for myself when I was 14. I am 34 now. The wife says if you want a new one, you should sell the old one to pay for it[V] I don't know if I can part with it. Besides, to sell it I'd have to put new wood on it. When I was young & dumb, I refinished it and it is no longer "original". STUPID STUPID STUPID.
