Some good 1911 building sites?

I need information mainly what are the best frames, slides and barrels to use for a custom gun also reviews of multy comps/breaks would be good.

After upgrading/customizing my first 1911 I have decided to build another and maybe another and maybe another after that Anyhow thanks for the replies.


I should post pics of my 1911 one of these days as well however its at my cabin and stil needs a bit of work on what I did before now that I know it functions correctly.
