Try the Savage, very accurate set-up.

You can't hardly go wrong with a Ruger 77/22, and a Burris Compact 4X12.
I can smell them cooking already ;O)

I had been talking about getting a Ruger 77/22 for years and finaly got one this spring. WOW I wish I had gotten one a long time ago, it is worth every penny. I shoot mostly subsonics through it is super accurate. As far as a scope goes I have 3X9X28 Bushnell that I had sitting at home and it works well on that gun.

I like Marlin, personally. They're not real expensive and work real well. As far as scopes, there's nothing wrong with Tasco. I have a fixed 4X on my .22 and it works perfectly. Picture is crystal clear, and I've never had a problem with it.

i think if price is a factor the savage and marlin rifles are great, they are very accurate and economically priced. both can offer great accuracy with the right ammo. i can't seem to give up my tasco mag IV scope for my 22 marlin, it works and hasn't let me down once. just my opinion.

I just bought a new Remington mod.504 put a leapold rifleman series 3x9,and it's the finest set-up out there,a real piece of art,and oh what a shooter 0 -
If you want a combo that will shoot better then you the try the Copper and a Burris compact. 0 -
I still say the 10/22 is one of the most versital when it comes to tricking one out. I really miss the AMT lightning 25/22 now that came in the config everyone wanted.
