Brazilian model 34

I just found a Brazilian model 34 Mauser in 30.06 and I have couple of Questions.First,will a bolt reworked by the Israelis for .308 work in it as long as headspace is good?If not,what do I have to do to a stock bolt to make it able to withstand the 30.06 round?

  Any standard 98 Mauser bolt should fit. And function fine. Check headspace and you're good to go, I did the same to my Brazilian M954, which is very similar to the 08/34.

  Great I have plenty of bolts.I just figured something special had to be done to the bolt.Thank you for the info.
