Most of our cusromers like the Marlins out of the three choices. The Winchester is nice also and the Henry sure looks good. All three are fine pieces if you asked me.

God gave us all a gift. Have you found yours yet ?

I like the henry the action is smoother. But that gold look is hard to keep clean.

I've had Winchester and Marlin lever guns in 44 mag. But, I have never even handled a 'Big Boy'. They certainly are unique lookers.
I traded the Winchesters. Both had the 'straight stock' and I prefer a 'pistol grip' stock. The action on the Winchester's had a bit more slack in all positions except in battery. Both shot well with no failures, they just were not my favorites.

The two Marlins I kept group well with pet loads, had the least 'scabbard wear' on the metal, and had the stock configuration I prefer.

    Enjoy the shopping.

If we do not hang together,
We will most certainly hang separately.

thoug I have no experience with the "Big Boy" I have held a "Golden Boy", basically a .22lr version. And it had an ultra smooth action and trigger, and the sights were great. Try and find a place that has both the Golden boy and Marlin in stock for comparision, though I imagine that this will be very hard.

Nope, ain't into playing Cowboys anymore...since I got too big for Cabela's to outfit my girth with fringed vests and jackets. [:(]
Just looking for a reliable shooter to pair with my side-arm. [8D]
