Stiff Action, Can you loosen it?

I bought a Browning BDA .380 at a gun show, NIB. Sweet pistol, but it has a tremendously stiff action. It is nothing like the smooth Glock I own. I have tried gun oils' and the like, only minimal help. It there any home remedies I can use to get this thing easy to breach? Thanks for the help, God bless. Big CZ

    I agree with Mike...shoot a few boxes through it. This is a high quality firearm mfg. by Beretta.It will loosen up and perform as expected. Years ago this was the first semi-auto centerfire that I had my 10 yr old daughter shoot. Now ,as a young adult, its still one of her favorites. You made a good choice!!!

    a bit of valve grinding compound the rails will loosen it in a few boxes. Use the fine grit not the rough grit. You can also use a an automotive polishing compound as well. CLEAN IT VERY WELL after use and DO NOT allow any in the chamber which will find it's way into the bore,..only on the rails.

    why chase the game when the bullet can get em from here?....

    Big CZ...you might want to try this...get a tube of the "old" Ipana tooth paste and coat the rails with it, then pop off a box or two of ammo. The "abrasive" in the toothpaste is not as hard as fine polishing compound and washes away rather easily.

    Got to using that years ago on new level wind casting reels to "loosen" up the pawl and gear and started using it on rails on automatic pistols to smooth them out. Works like a charm, and after you get it smoothed out and broken in, you can use the leftover stuff for a great smile! LOL

    I think he is referring to the trigger action. Outside of a taking it to a gunsmith who is familiar with this pistol, use is the only thing that will loosen it up.
