Hello very likely the mag. most WW ll mags were common ones and unless you have a mint pistol I would not worry about a matching one. Buy a new mag see if it works and if you want to keep orginal body of old mag with your pistol just exchange the GUTS between mags. quote:"PRAISE THE HARDBALL GUN"

I'd stretch the spring about an inch and try it. A new spring wouldn't be a bad investment.
There was a DB Cooper who jumped from a jet with a bunch of bucks some years back. Any relation?

thanks for the advice guys. i am going to buy a new magazine first and if it doesnt solve the problem then i'll look at some other possibilities. and yes, i am the man who jumped out of the airplane in the early 70's with $400,000 in cash. problem is i dropped the money in some damn river or lake and i only made away with about 200 bucks !! j/k. i am not the "real" DB Cooper, he is dead.

DB..you can check out www.cheaperthandirt.com online. They offer several different 1911 mags...prices start at $6.00 and go up. For my money, the Wilson's are the best. Just my 2 cents worth.
