I'm looking to get into a good over and under for less than $1000, I'm on a Military salary and that's about all I can spend. Any sugestions? Thanks, Dan.

what branch? btw...bt-99's or bt-100's are cheaper costing than an o&u. you dont really need an o&u if youre just gonna do handicap. o&u is for doubles trap.

God bless you, danblancho, I hope you don't have to go too Iraqi! If you are intending on shooting trap, singles, then your best bet is the new model BT.99 from Browning. They have just started re-making it again, after they made and didn't like the success of the BT.100. The 99 shoots very well for a mid-priced trap gun, and they hardly ever break.
Of course if you plan on shooting doubles, you will definitely need an over and under. Check out the ones listed on GunBroker, and let us know what you decide.
    Good luck!

Thanks BigBarn, one question. Can you get a bt-99 with screw in chokes? Dan.
