LLama 1911 question
I just got a llama 45 the fullsize one. When I go to put a round in the chamber if I dont pull the slide back and let it slam down hard the round wont chamber. If I just pull it back and let down slowley it just gets stuck about halfway. Does this happen with all 45. Or is it just the llama

To keep costs down, the feed ramp on the Llama (properly pronounced "Yamah", btw)pistols are rarely polished, and seldom have perfect geometry from the factory. If it is leaving copper marks on the feed ramp, and refuses to feed hollowpoint ammo, this is a relatively simple task for your gunsmith to correct. But if it functions well in live fire, it ain't broke so don't fix it. Often the feed lips on the factory magazines leave much to be desired. Step #1, you were probably gonna buy more magazines anyway, buy good ones, ie. McCormick, etc. The lip contours are different on good mags. Step#2, a gentle ramp and throat job goes a long way. I have seen these symptoms on many, many stock .45's, on anything but a Kimber. Before I retire, I'll probably see that, too.

what he said ,plus check your recoil spring ,and it probably will only feed ball ammo ,i hope your letting it slam from a mag ,and not just on a bullet in the chamber
