Beretta O/U 680 series barrel swap?

I bought another barrel it matches fairly well, everything is tight, or I should say to tight, ejectors work it closes but I need two men and a boy to open and close the gun, is there anything I can do besides sending it to the factory and as you all know that won't be cheap,any thought's out there???

  Traditionally Beretta barrels within the same series are inerchangable, BUT: they must be timed with the ejectors & tuned to the lockup of the particular receiver they are installed on. I suggest you give COLE Gunsmithing a call @ 207-833-5027, or visit their website @ www.colegun.com. Having barrels fitted is not a very expensive process & is well worth the investment to prevent improper wear to your barrels & receiver.
