famouse guns

i have always been interested in guns as you may have noticed here on the forums.

one catagory of firearms tah have always fascinated me were guns made for movies or famouse guns in general.

anyone know of anywere that i can go to get pictures or info on some of the guns from famouse movies like the punisher or that were used by famouse people like the dillenger gang etc.

just a point of interest question i didn't know were else to post

    A while ago I saw the turquoise-gripped 1911 that Elvis shot the TV with. I wish I had the money for it. Would've made a great gift to my sister (an Elvis woman and TV shooter, herself).

    In Juneau Alaska in the red dog saloon there is a gun that I beleive wyatt erp check at the door, but never pick up. Check into that one to verify it, but that is what I was told by the owner of the bar and the plack said.

    I saw a tv show awhile back, I think it was on the History Channel, about 'famous' guns.

    Be very careful when considering purchasing a 'famous' gun. There's probably enough 'Billy the Kids' pistols in collections to fill a warehouse the size of a football field!

    I remember back in the '70's, at a small county fair here in NE GA, I saw the car that 'Bonnie & Clyde' were in when they were killed. Yeah, right! 'Bonnie & Clyde's' car at a little county fair!

    It's true. A guy bought the Bonnie and Clyde car and took it around the country, displaying it at carnivals, county fairs, etc. I've seen it a bunch of times, at the Kern County Fair, Contra Costa County Fair, LA County Fair and others, as well.
