High Standard SMC 107 overhaul

Here's an update on the spring replacement.

Replaced the firing pin and recoil springs with lots of help from Bobski and Perry. As we left it, it seemed that the spring on the extractor claw was weak as it wouldn't extract.

It now seems that my gun is alergic to CCI Green Tag. Green Tag is too snug in the barrel and does not extract. Winchester Std Vel, CCI Std Vel, several Eleys, Federal Gold Medal and a few others I tried today all worked fine.

The feeding problem I experienced earlier also resurfaced today. One of the four mags is causing it. The rounds are feeding high, missing the chamber completely.

I spent the day testing accuracy with four .22s and 11 different ammo. Details in a different thread...
