Stil looking for the best AR RRA -v- Bushmaster

Tell me about rock river arms ARs: All mil.spec.? Are they forged? What about warranty? It seems that I can get a bush. 20 in. A-2 New delivered, ffl and all for 800.00 Or a RRA all national match delivered and ffl for about 950.00. Which will bring more if i have to resell? Help? Thanks Keith

    I have both a Bushmaster AR and an RRA AR as well as a DPMS AR...all are National Match Service Rifle configured. Sam Dayton worked the sights of my Bushmaster. I 've had no problems with my Bushmaster but more than a few shooters at the National Matches have complained about triggers with the Bushmaster. All of the National Match rifles by these manufacturers will shoot well under a minute of angle(usually a half minute)....most of their shooters don't. In my mind it's worth the price of getting the National Match Service Rifle configuration because you can then use it in competition. As to what brand..it's a push. I like the trigger on the stock NM RRA. My DPMS is tricked out with all the superwhamodyne BS that you can purchase for an AR..jewell trigger,titanium firing pin, special barrel..yadayada yadayada and it shoots like the other rifles without the yadadyada BS. My favorite right now is the RRA, not because of the rifle necessarily but for the personal attention you get from the company when you order it. You may very well get one of the owners and actual builders of your rifle(both High Masters) when you call on the phone and ordering is a snap even if you don't know the right questions to ask they'll give you the right answers to the questions you didn't know to ask. I'd recommend the 1/4 minute sights over the 1/2 minute sights...more cranking and more of a pain in the butt; but more precise as well.

    Don't worry about resale unless you are not a serious shooter. You will have the rifle for a long long time and your current situation will not apply then. Beach

    Oh yeah...if you don't need it right away wait until early January when sales are down and you might just get a deal from the factory. They should be done by then with all of their orders from the National Matches.
