sighting in 22 mag pistol
I want to start shooting silhouette targets. The silhouettes are set out at 25 yards, 50 yards, 75 yards, and 100 yards.I shoot a single six Ruger new model. At what range would you sight in?Is there a trajectory chart that I might use?I've been using CCI 22 WMR 40Gr TMJ bullets ,with 2.59 grains of powder.
And this has come to pass, not to stay.

You may find it difficult to compete with your current choice, but ever'body's gotta start somewhere.
If you're going to stick with a 6" barrel and stay with 22mag; you want to have to hold "down" on the chickens, a little low for the pigs, dead on 1/2 way up the turkeys, and the top of the rams' back.
If I may suggest, you may have more success in the "Creedmore" position, where you lie down, feet toward the targets, one arm underneath your head, other arm alongside your body, holding the gun against your leg and sighting at arms' length.
In stickler matches, you won't be able to touch the ground with your elbow or the top of your boot with the barrel, but it's still the steadiest for a revolver.
If you try this position, remember to get a thick piece of leather to wrap your leg with; muzzle blast is sometimes painful (if you forgot to tuck in your jeans...), and sometimes sends pieces of metal and flame into your leg.

So your saying I should sight in at 50 yards?I was thinking of sighting in at 25 yards, then raise the point of impact for 50 yards.I just can't find how much to raise the point of impact. Thanks for the reply.

No.
50 yards would be the pigs; you want to be dead-on at 75, halfway up the middle of the turkeys.
There is an excellent manual out for determining ballistics/trajectories for virtually any commercially available ammo, called Ammo and Ballistics for shooters & hunters; get volume 2.
