would anyone here replace their M16 (AR15) A2 parts with A1 parts?
like forward grips or stocks?

Why would you want to? The A2 parts are an "improvement" over the A1 parts.
The only reason I can think someone would do that is to try to make their A2 rifle look like a vietnam era A1 for a photo shoot or a film, but then the A2 sights and other subtle features would be spotted by the eyes of gun experts.

Not a lot of "percentage" in doing something like that unless they had a collection, couldn't find an A-1 and wanted something that kinda/mostly looked like one ... 
If you only have time to do two things so-so, or one thing well ... do the one thing!0
