cz 550 FS - trying to remove front and rear sights

Having unscrewed all the screws, I am still unable to remove the front or rear sight bases from the barrel of my cz 550 FS. Am I missing something, or do I need to take it into a gunsmith to remove these?
Any insight appreciated.
