Definately Not a Factory Conversion...As far as Value go's....? Maybe a 'C' Note....and thats streching it bit...Only thing this Gun is good for is a conversation piece.....As for parts....? Not a $100.00 worth there.......Choice is Yours.....But don't bury Yourself into it.......Best......

It looks kinda like a hobjob conversion. It's definately not a richards-mason conversion.

Looks like a homemade gun to me. I wouldn't touch it.

Am I seeing things or does that pistol have a top strap too???

Everyone that has replied, especially the captain, has given you the best, most logicial and sound advice. So, just to be the devil's advocat, I would like to chime in with a somewhat counter view: Few, if any, of my guns make real "logical" sense and none is worth anything to anyone but me. If, and the if is huge, you can determine something about this guns lineage that you find interesting, like if it really is a homemade "frontier" conversion, and you want it for yourself as a historical/representative piece and never hope to ever see any return on your investment---why not. Its your money.
