UPS Ammo Shipping

Went to the UPS Store to ship some vintage ammo and the guy said they have new rules now, can only ship to FFL. I couldn't find anything on their website about ammo, anyone heard of this policy? I know about the state laws and age requirements.

    I just shipped some ammo with them and they didn't say anything. Probably just a no nothing desk jockey next time talk to the manager.

    I don't approve of political jokes. I've seen too many of them get elected.

    I sure hope he doesn't own it for very damn long! What a stroke! Start a boycott on his "UPS Store" and see how he likes stepping outside the accepted rules of corporate conduct! People like that make me livid!!!!

    Many of the former Mailboxes (franchise) outlets became UPS outlets when UPS bought Mailboxes out. Some decided to stay as Mailboxes, even though their franchise is now under/with UPS. Something to do with price structure differences as I understand it. So the guy your dealing with owns the franchise. Does he have to accept the same materials as UPS ... don't know. You could check with UPS and try working things that way, but hey it may be a lot simpler to check into the FedEx Ground service.

    it is his store - he can ship or not - dont boycott him for doing what he thinks is right for his small business - do boycott KMart
