scope for black powder rifle??
Bought a new Apex Magnum .50 cal and would like to scope it. I know there are muzzle loader scopes out there. Will a regular rifle scope work? If so what power do you recommend?
Thanks

A regular rifle scope will be fine.
I have a 3-9 power on my inline.0 -
check your state game regs. before you go hunting with it , here in WI you can only use a 1x or reddot without magnification 0 -
I hunt in VA where it's legal to use muzzleloaders with scopes. I bought a TC sidehammer Renegade last week that someone had scoped with a Simmons 3-9x. I sighted it in on Sat morning and took a nice little buck that afternoon at 120 yards. Since I'm over 50 I can't see iron sights like I once could and the scope made it much easier to make the shot. Normal high power rifle scopes seem to work fine. 0 -
Normal rifle scopes do indeed work fine, but do check your state regulations as some states do not allow hunting with scoped muzzleloaders. 0
