Can I build on a US reciever using an Imbel parts kit?

  Yes, assuming you comply with the 89 Bush ban, and use 6 other US made parts in place of the Evil foreign made parts. Most commonly changed out parts are: Hammer, trigger, sear, gas piston, charging handle, pistol grip, buttstock, handguards, magfloor plate and follower.

  Fyi from what I have been reading, DSA may be the only current source for Usa made FCG for a FAL

  There are still some of the Century parts out there for the FCG, but they will take some work to get them to work right. Check out Tapco.com for your compliance parts, they have some packages that are reasonable. It is true that the FSE parts are not available through normal channels, I don't know what happened to them.

  Actually, only full auto capable FAL's have a disconnector(safety sear). In the case of semi auto FAL's, it is a Hammer, trigger, and sear.
