the p-11 is an excellent pistol. The triger pull is a little tight, however you will get used to it with time. I had one and loved it. the only reason I dont have it was because I had to sell it during a financial strain.

If you get it order anothe magazine and the finger rest plates for them.[;)]

Once you master the trigger pull on the P-11 you'll be amazed at how much better you'll shoot your other handguns.[^]

I have one somewhere in the house. Never got around to firing it, wondering if it's a challenge to field strip. I'm less than a mechanical marvel.

Get the P11. I like mine. Haven't shot it a lot but it has a lot going for it, price-wise and otherwise.

THANKS for all the input, folks. It's great to have a forum for such exchanges of useful information. And thanks to GunBroker for making it happen! [:)][:D][8D][^]

BTW, is it possible to have that trigger pull issue resolved by a gunsmith? Of course, in a self-defense scenario, it might not be an issue at all, huh? I'd probably be so TENSE I wouldn't notice the resistance, right? [:0][?]

I have one that I added the 357SIG conversion kit to. It carries comfortably in a Fobus paddle holster. The Keltecs are the most gun in the lightest, most compact package.
The trigger pull is a true double action whereas the Glock and Kahr
have the Glock, one-time double action strike.
You probably wont want to shoot more than a box at a time because the trigger will raise a blister on your finger. The optional trigger shoe helps some.
