To the best of my knowledge, there is no aftermarket trigger for the A-Bolt. A good gunsmith will shorten the sear engagement, replace the trigger spring, and install an overtravel stop. The average A-bolt can yield a pull of 20oz to 5lbs+.Length, smoothness, and letoff is directly relative to gunsmith patience. 0 -
I did some research and don't believe there is one.
I had my gunsmith install a lighter spring and work on the trigger and it turned out very well. He used the #3 pound trigger from the Timney kit and it measured out at 2.5#. Since my a-bolt is a hunting gun there was no reason to go lower.
It is way better than it was out of the box. I don't pull to the right on my shots anymore.0 -
Thanks Guys. I was afraid of that, I dont have the rifle a friend does, So it's off to the gun smith, something to keep in mind when buying a new rifle.[:(] 0 -
www.midwayusa.com shows a Moyer titanium coated for A-Bolt for a couple varieties of actions. My link went down so didn't get the price. Look under gunsmithing, gun parts, triggers, page 10 about halfway down. Don't know how well they work and you may still need a gunsmith to install. 0 -
