Walther P22 Semi-Auto
why doesn't Walther, or anyone for that matter, manufacture a vertical shoulder holster for the Walther P22? Or any shoulder holster for the pistol? And if possible, is there a shoulder holster that will fit the Walther relatively good? I'm looking for a nylon vertical holster for my pistol. I prefer one mag. pouch, but that's not really all that important. Thanks.

I'd say its because that small .22 caliber pistol is intended for training and casual plinking, and not for service (ie defense/offense) work.
Its just not a gun intended for self-defense.0 -
I had thought of that. Even though it's not intended for service, it would be nice to have one. the side holsters are not something i like very much. i don't like them for my .38, and couldn't imagine liking one for my p22. what about tactical a leg harness? 0 -
digital24...try Galco. They make something for just about everything.

Though you said you didnt want a hip holster, the following model from Don Hume, designed for a Kel-Tec P40 is supposedly a really good fit for a P22:
H720 OT 40FS.

I should have clearified that. I don't like belt holsters that much. I don't mind a tactical leg holster. If it's all Nylon that is. 0 -
I have an old Uncle Mikes holster shoulder holster for a Colt combat commander that it fits in pretty good. You have to adjust the thumb release a bit but it works good for me and you can carry 2 mags in the spare mag pouch.
