Savage model 93 17 cal problems
I recently purchased a model 93 savage bolt action rifle in 17 caliber rimfire. It has a 5 round clip. If I only put between 1 and 3 rounds in the clip, the action works great, If I put the 4th and 5th rounds in the clip, the action jams, not feeding the round into the chamber. It was suggested that maybe the spring in the clip is too strong. Anybody have any suggestions.

Definitely the clip . I would send back to Savage and ask for another or buy another clip. This sometimes can be a problem due to the ammo you are using.
