    could i please get an opion on the Rossi mule eared sxs? i understand they have not been imported in years. i have a chance to buy one in like new condition for $200, good, bad?

    I used to have one of these rifles, they were a good little carbine for the money. If it's unused I'd say that $150.00 is a good price, for my area anyway. I don't think you'd be unhappy with it.

    that is a very good price,IMHO.I would buy it in a heartbeat for that price...but then I like Rossi carbines.[:D]
    Most likely it will be a bit stiff at first but a few hundred cranks on the lever while watching True Grit will loosen 'er up some.A set of aftermarket springs will work wonders.

    I have a 92 puma in 44-40. Bought it new at least 15 years ago. Very nice gun for the money. The Brazilian Walnut(?) is a milk chocolate brown looks kinda cool and the gun functions great, even trigger is not to bad.
