    Two possibilities here.

    The most likely is an English gunmaker named TC Montgomery who was in business from c.1870-1895. The gun would have British proofs on the watertable and underneath the barrels.

    Montgomery also may have had barrels made for him in Belgium, in which case the barrels would exhibit the ELG proofs but the frame would not.

    In either event, it is a wallhanger piece.
