45 ACP, Reloading help

I plan to reload 45 acp over the winter and have been looking at brass. I have found nickle +P brass. What would be the advantage of +P brass??? I will not load a "hot load". Will the life of the brass be longer than NON +P brass????

  The +P mark only indicates how it was loaded at the factory. The internals of the brass are the same as "standard" brass.
  Watch for flaking of the nickle plating, other than that it loads just like the brass brass.
  With 45ACP cases, you will lose it before you wear it out.

  Are you saying that the brass you found is new-in-box unprimed brass with +P marked on the box & case? Or, did you get used brass that had been loaded originally by the manufacturer to +P level, & is so marked on the case?
  
  Regardless, .45 ACP cases are basically the same if within standards, but with differences in measurements & brass thickness that varies slightly depending upon the manufacturer.
  
  The greatest factor in longevity of handgun cases is the amount of bending of the case when it is crimped. Since you will always taper crimp a .45 ACP, any type of case should last you for hundreds of rounds.

  THANKS GUYS for your help..... The brass is once fired and cleaned. It is a bit more money for the +P, and I just thought it was a better brass and would last longer. [:)]
