I think that the magazine may be the same as the current production Buckmark ... find someplace local with Buckmark mags. and take your pistol there to check the mag. fit.

Also check out the following link:

I just called (and waited 15 minutes) Browning customer service. Current production Buck Mark mags will NOT work. Originals or aftermarket only.

Hopefully someone has some experience with the aftermarkets to pass on.

    Thanks

Years back I had a magazine made by Triple K, that was made to function in both the early and later model Challenger pistols,i.e. 1 2 & 3.

It functioned fine in my Belgian Challenger, but wasn't manufactured to operate the hold open after the last shot in the magazine.

OK ... not the first time I've been wrong. But Numrich shows they have Challenger II mags. in stock for $30.

Another option is to hit a couple gun shows and see what you might find there.

    Thanks all,
We have a big show the weekend of the 19th. If I can find a new one there for the same price, my problem is solved.

A new set back came up that gives me time to find one. I had to send the pistol to a 'smith yesterday. I think both the firing pin spring and ejector spring are shot. I never noticed it before, but I think this is the first rimfire I have seen that has a ROUND tip firing pin.
