CAN A NOLICENCED ADULT RECIEVE THREW US MAIL A TRAP DOOR SPRINGFIELD THAT WAS MADE IN THE 1800S. OR DO I HAVE TO SEND A FFL TO THE OWNERS FFL OR CAN WE JUST MAKE THE TRANSACTION BETWEEN US TWO NOLICENSED PEOPLE.

    Any pre 1898 weapon can be shipped through the mail or common carrier to a non lisencee as long as there are no local laws prohibiting it. As long as niether of you live in a state like New Jersey that require an FFL transfer for antiques you should be ok.
