on the older ammo in the yellow red brown animal boxes, I have seen a variety of different animals on the front...are some more collect. then others ? are the differences because of caliber or because of age ? I have some tiger boxes in 340 and some elephant boxes in 378 and dont want to foolishly shoot it if its value is signifigant vs the cost of recent production,,,,any help here ?

Scott, the animal boxes can bring a substantial premium to current production (up to double the price) if they are in real nice condition. But they do have to have the condition, because people are essentially paying for appearance. The only caliber which is worth more than the others (after factoring out size issues) is the .375, which was replaced by the .378 and is comparatively scarce.
