Early South Gate Weatherby stocks.

Will these Mauser rifle actions fit the new and old Weatherby stocks enterchangeably? I have a early South Gate I want to re-stock?

    I'm guessing that you're talking about one of the FN Weatherby's. I have one in 300 and the action has standard FN screw spacing,etc, but the magazine is about an eighth inch longer on front and a sixteen inch longer in back, so a little inletting would be needed to fit a standard stock to it, but it isn't a major job and anyone handy with woodworking tools could do the job.
