Value of Sig p210???
Hi,
Anyone know what's a decent price for a used, but in excellent condition Sig 210 target 9mm with extra mags, and the accompanying .22 conversion unit? (Also comes with original case, extra lead barrel also).
I would imagine this would be somewhat astronomical, but I just heard about a MA compliant one for sale, and I am inclined to jump on it.
Any answers or advice would be appreciated.
By the way, anyone think these guns are likely to appreciate in value over the coming years?

I've been following these, and $2500-3500 seems to be what they are bringing with all the accesories you mention.

Hello IMHO I never buy a gun with the idea of makeing money in the future I buy what I like . That said for the most part well made low volume guns do go up I never thought the colt 1911's and SAA would reach the price they now bring when so many were made but with all collectables only the best condition ones go up very much. 0 -
Mark and Packrat, thanks for all the info.
I was under the impression that the 210 had been discontinued, but I checked and apparently production of these resumed in the early 90s after a several year hiatus.
The "ask" on this gun is in the middle of the stated range. I'm mainly interested in a good, target 9mm, and I don't mind paying a bit more for a gun that I know will deliver. The only thing is, with $3000+ being tossed around, I want to make sure I won't take a beating if I want to sell it later. Sounds like I am in the ballpark with the added goodies.
The "kicker" is that this gun was properly registered in the state of MA prior to '98, and thus is "pre-ban" here. Although there may be exceptional ways around the ban, no new Sig 210s may be sold in the State of MA anymore, nor old ones brought in via a dealer from out of state. So these guns are next to impossible to find in MA, and for that reason, I think this one might actually have some potential to appreciate.
Any more about these I should know before I sacrifice the blood of my unborn children to get one?0 -
