Living in MA.

When I lived in NC I owned a Glock 19 I believe it was what they called third generation. The grip was molded with finger grooves and it felt great. I returned to my home state and I find out this gun in not legal to own here. I sold the Glock. Does anyone know of a similar gun I can purchase in this state. I would like to buy brand new, I do not want to buy a used or refurbished Glock. Thank you in advance for any input.

    All new handguns sold in MA must pass a "drop test"; this test is performed by a state agency. Your best bet is to stop by a local dealer & find out what he carries; that's all you'll be able to buy, anyway.

    hogan...like you im stuck here in marxachusetts too...there are no "new" glocks you can buy...only "refurbs"...i dont know where your at but theres a shop in woburn...four seasons firearms...they have all kinds of refurb glocks and just about everything else you could ask for...real good guys in there...if you want pm or email me for more info on the awful state we live in and our laws

    Greeting from People's Republic of Kalifornia. I have a question for yous. I was under the impression if you owned it before you moved to your new state you can keep it. Like here in CA the only way you can get say a Detonics Scoremaster is to do a person to person transfer since it's not on the DOJ list. (funny it's only a 1911 style .45ACP whose company is no longer) Yes even out of state as long as the seller comes to your gunsmith/FFL to do the paperwork. So, is the laws more strict in MA to the point you have to sell a piece before residing there? Or did you sell it for another reason?
