browning a-5 classic value?

there is a a-5 collecters classic on a local auction this week end i was wondering what it's worth it is unfired and in the box i've been told around 1300.00 is this correct

  There are two "classic" models. Blue book $1095.00 and $3895.00 Good luck.

  the two models are the gold classic 500 made and the regular classic 5000 made is this correct it seems the gold classic should be worth more then that because it was 6500.00 when introduced
