ear protection advice needed
I would like to get different opinions about electronic stereo hearing protection. So many brands, So many so many different prices. I don`t know which way to go. I will be buying soon and appreciate your help so I don`t get stung.

They are nice. And your right prices are all over the map.
Midway often runs specials on them, following is a link to a set that I think is a very good value as they provide a NRR of 27.

However, there are many others, both on Midway's site and elsewhere. The important thing to look for is the action level and NRR, especially the latter as many electronic sets only have 19-20 NRR's and that is getting pretty low.
If you only have time to do two things so-so, or one thing well ... do the one thing!0 -
I'd go with some Peltor Tac6, they are very low profile so when you shoot long guns they do not get in the way. The sound quality and hearing protection is good also. On sale sometime for 70.00 to 80.00. 0 -
Hello I agree with the PELTOR some units cut out compleatly on loud sounds others reduce to a safe level . and you can still hear. the ones that cut off and on will drive you nuts. 0 -
