Plastic Stock Sling Swivels

Can I put sling swivels on my Remington 7400 with a hollow plastic stock? There is a rib going along the inside where it would screw in - will this be strong enough?

  I have installed swivel studs in two synthetic stocks and haven't had any problems.The front stud if you buy the set for your rifle should have a replacement forend screw that has the stud already installed.Follow directions for your particular rifle and it should be ok.Good luck,Bob.
