Rusted screw on IJ grip

What is the best way to get the grips off an Iver J when the "washer" on the other side turns with the screw? These grips are too good to destroy.

  Try Spotting a Drop of Super Glue around the Washer (I believe you mean Escussion?) taking care not to get any glue on the Screw Tip....Let stan for a few hours....Then try to unscrew.....
