since the AWB expired and my WASR-10 is techically US made, not imported because it has the required parts, it should be eligible for a bayo lug, correct? how would i go about doing this, would i need a new barrel or could i retrofit mine?

  On some of the AK forums talk is that a bead could be welded where the "wings" of the lug were ground off.The bead would then be dremiled /filed to size.On most AKs only the sides of the lug were ground.Im not a welder but they say a certain type welder should be used because its a small part.[?]

  please be advised this is A PAIN and a lot of work for a bayonet already done this to an sar 1
