    Any A-5 Barrel should fit.

    I WOULD RATHER BE DUCK HUNTING.

    lets start with the serial number. it will tell us what gun we are dealing with. include any letters in front or behind the number.[:)]

    Serial # is 66256 there is an "M" about and inch above it. The barrel says B61322.

    ok, originally, all brownings had matching serial numbers. as you can see, the original bbl has been changed out. looks like you have a standard weight 1957 gun with a 1952/53 bbl on it. both are belgian. you should have no problem with any belgian bbl on the gun. if i remember and as duckhunter mentioned, japanese bbls should fit as well. you shouldnt have any problem. just remember to tell the seller you have a 1957 STANDARD WEIGHT gun. good luck![:)]

    you also need to make sure you get a 2 3/4 ' barrel or a 3" barrel depending on which gun you have a 3" chamber barrel will not fit a 2 3/4' gun nor will a 2 3/4' fit on a 3' frame

    I thank you guys a bunch for all the info, what I wanted to know is can you mix A-5 light barrels on standard guns & vice versa

    yes thats not a problem only difference is weight the light barrels have holes drilled in the collar to reduce weight
