Breifly, what are the differences in the most common Winchester, pre '64, Mod 70 configurations, especially between standard and featherweight. If the explanations are too lengthy or complicated please direct me to an on-line resource?

  Find a copy of Roger Rule's Winchester Model 70 hardback text.
  
  It identifies everything from sights to buttplates.
