German Imperial Walther PPK Value
Hi! I have a Walther PPK that was "inherited" from a family member and wonder if anyone can give me an idea of value. I have a picture located at the web address below. It is a Walther PPK, serial number 409945 K, with what looks like Imperial post marks. As you can see it has the original Nazi (Imperial) leather holster, extra clip and belt. Any help is greatly appreciated for a new member of this great board!
Thanks!

b--g, I don't think it's an Imperial piece. The eagle stamp on the holster includes a swastika, which would date it as post 1936. The other markings are illegible to me.
A pure guess as to value might be 300 bucks, but don't put much faith in my guess. Some of the other guys probably know better that I do.
If you can read the other stuff and type it out, maybe someone on the board can translate it.
Cheers,

I would say an original Nazi marked holster with appropriate pistol could bring well over $500. Imperial refers to the Kaisertum, that is, 1871-1918. Then came the Weimar Republic, arguably until 33 or 34, that is, either when Hitler came to power or his 'superior' Hindenburg died. Then the Nazi Era, which is from your pistol dates.
