.17HMR "short" ammo?

I saw and held in my hand a round that was about half the length of a .17 and looked like a ".17 short". I didn't give it too much thought and am a long way from that shop. Anybody know about this round?

Most likely the new 17 Mach 2 aka 17M2.

If you only have time to do two things so-so, or one thing well ... do the one thing!

It could also be a 17 Agulia cartridge.

Some guys like a mag full of lead, I still prefer one round to the head.
